وی تاكید كرد : اصل و ریشه تمام مشكلات مردم در عراق ناشی از اشغال این كشور توسط نیروهای آمریكایی بود و این مساله بر روی تمام سیستم حیاتی آن اثر گذاشت .

الدراجی گفت : صدام 40 سال مشكلات زیادی را بر مردم عراق تحمیل كرد و آن را خراب كرد ، اكنون از برادران ایرانی خواستار كمك برای بازسازی كشورمان هستیم .

این مقام مسئول عراقی افزود : آمادگی لازم را برای برطرف ساختن موانع حضور شركتهای ایرانی داریم و پیوندهای دینی ،مذهبی ، فرهنگی دو كشور بسیار عمیق است .

وی اظهار امیدواری كرد : اجرای مفاد یادداشت تفاهم بین دوكشور فصل نوینی برای توسعه همكاریها را به دنبال داشته باشد .

الدراجی پیشنهاد كرد پس از تعطیلات نوروز در ایران ، یك هفته به اسم ' ساختمان سازی در بغداد ' نامگذاری شود و طی آن نمایشگاهی از مصالح ساختمانی تولید كنندگان ایرانی ، همزمان همایشی در زمینه فناوریهای نوین ایرانی در بخش ساختمان برپا شود و هیاتی به ریاست وزیر راه وشهرسازی ایران به همراه مدیران شركتهای بخش خصوصی در عراق حاضر شوند .

علی نیكزاد پیشنهاد وزیر عراقی را پذیرفت و به معاون امور بین الملل خود دستور زمینه سازی این برنامه را داد .

هیات عراقی به ریاست وزیر مسكن و آبادانی این كشور از 29 بهمن ماه گذشته به تهران آمده و ضمن بازدید از شهرهای شیراز و قم از نزدیك با دستاوردهای بخش راه وشهرسازی آشناشدند و با مقام های بلند پایه كشورمان نیز دیدار كردند .
